REVIEW: Star Wars Kinect Bundle

By now you have all most likely heard about the Star Wars Xbox 360 that was announced at the San Diego Comic Con last year. It was initially supposed to see a holiday 2012 release, but sadly Santa was unable to make those deliveries due to this being pushed back indefinitely. The delay was due to the game that it comes with, Star Wars Kinect getting pretty bad initial play tests.

Then about a month ago, it was announced that the game was ready and the bundle would be release on April 3, 2012. So, was the wait worth it...

For the die hard Star Wars fan the answer is a definite yes.

If you have been waiting to upgrade your old Xbox 360 that has been getting closer to those inevitable Red Rings of Death then this is the time to do it! Not only do you get an amazing looking system that sounds like R2-D2 as well, but you get a 320 GB hard drive, Kinect Adventures, Kinect Star Wars, and a really sleek C-3P0 controller.

If you already have a new generation Xbox 360, then the $450 may be a bit too steep to warrant another purchase.

The Games are both excellent titles that demonstrate the power of Kinect for those who are new to it. Although some elements of the Star Wars games are not as strong (Lightsaber dueling) the majority of the game is light-hearted fun that the whole family can enjoy.
